Liminal Fine Art Graduates Exhibition has begun

Liminal at the University Gallery is open for viewing! This multi-venue exhibition featuring the University's Fine Art Graduate students is underway, with the Watt Space Honours student exhibition opening last night.

On the Callaghan campus, the Uni Gallery is exhibiting six Honours students and the Art (AT) Building is exhibiting 37 Undergraduates completing their third and final year of the Bachelor of Fine Art Degree.

​The opening for the Uni Gallery and Art (AT) Building exhibitions is on Wednesday the 25th of November at 6pm, launched by Marcus Westbury.

Come along to see some incredible work by our Fine Art students.

Liminal : Fine Art Graduates exhibition from next week

Liminal celebrates the art work of students completing the Bachelor of Fine Art (Honours) degree and the Bachelor of Fine Art (BFA) degree at the University of Newcastle in 2015. Graduating students have worked with a range of different media and processes to create individual pieces that reflect their achievements in becoming independent and professional artists.

Showing across three University locations: the University Gallery will feature the work of six BFA Honours students presenting their final works for examination: Libby Eckersley, Shelagh Lummis, Louisa Magrics, Kalinda Nelson-Boyd, Shandele Pascoe, and James Rhodes. 18 November - 12 December.

Wattspace Gallery in the CBD will show the work of four BFA Honours students: Eloise Genner, John Heaney, Louisa Magrics, Charlotte Patterson. 18 November - 6 December

The Art Building (AT) will host a selection of final art work from 37 graduating students of the BFA and BFA Teaching degree course from 25 November to 4 December.
